Labor Day Picnic in Douglas Park

As the heat wave continued to swelter, everyone convened at our weekend base camp in Santa Monica's Douglas Park for a picnic. Over the course of the day, we were joined by the Neubergs (Maddy, Mina and Jake), the Garrahans (Felix, Rachel and Matthew), two of the three Bushman sisters (Sari and Dina, pictured below), Dina's friend Caitlin, Sarah Kokin and Dave Nickoll, who cycled over on his fancy new bike.

Mo had so much fun doing his stepping, standing and crawling that he conked himself out on Daddy's lap by mid-afternoon.
